PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE ON VACATION FROM MAY 15-JUNE 19TH AND WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY NEW CLIENTS UNTIL JULY
Thank you for considering me to work alongside you as you embark on a journey of personal growth, self awareness and transformation.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), Registered Sandplay Practitioner (RSP) & SoulCollage® Facilitator. I offer a holistic, trauma informed approach to therapy that focuses on the underlying issues instead of just treating the surface symptoms.
Currently I am working predominantly with teens and adults seeking personal growth, healing and empowerment of their inner child. I also offer play therapy supervision to therapists.
My practice integrates Depth/Jungian Psychology, Attachment Theory, IFS, Sandplay Therapy, Play Therapy along with other forms of Expressive Arts Therapies that can facilitate unconscious material to come to the surface for processing at a pace that feels right for each client. All forms of Expressive Therapies are a complement to talk therapy and are suitable for all ages, including adults.
I have particular interest and experience in the following areas:
- Inner Child Work
- Increasing Self Love
- Relieving Anxiety & Depression
- Overcoming Trauma
- Processing Childhood Wounds
- Fostering Self-Nourishment and Empowerment
- Coping with Grief & Loss
- Dealing with Guilt & Shame
- Cultivating Personal Growth
- Exploring Women's Issues
- Embracing Mid Life & Aging
- Improving Assertiveness in Relationships
- Healing from Unstable & Toxic Relationships
- Adapting to Single Parenting, Divorce, Blended Family, Empty Nest Syndrome, Aging Parents, Life Transitions
- Immigration, Acculturation & Cultural Shifts
I have experience working with intact, divorced or separated families, military, blended, adoptive and foster families, immigrant and multicultural families, same sex couples, as well as single parents and children raised by their grandparents.
My practice is LGBTQ+ friendly.
Sessions can be in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
